As from 2010 and according to the ESN Constitution, only the Ordinary Membership category is considered.
A procedure for Membership fee collection (25 ¤) for 2010 is currently being adapted, and all ESN members will be notified when ready.
If you hold the Ordinary Membership category, no further action is required until the new fee collection procedure is established.
If you hold the Young or Graduate Membership category and you wish to continue joining us, please download the application form and follow the instructions therein provided.
Current ESN membership status and FENS Forum 2010:
We are receiving applications to join the ESN from scientists who are willing to attend the FENS Forum (to be held in Amsterdam in 2010). In fact, ESN membership status entitles to obtain a substantial reduction in the fee when registering at FENS Forum. To do so, FENS requested to us to send the updated ESN membership list, which we did at the end of the deadline (November 2009). Such a list is the only one that FENS will use to check the current status of a particular applicant to attend the Forum with reduction in the fee. There is no possibility at all for the ESN to add new members to such list until the end of 2010. Accordingly, although we are considering all new ESN membership applications, becoming a ESN member at this stage will not entitle to obtain the reduced fee for the 2010 FENS Forum in Amsterdam.
